Signs of perimenopause

If you are 40+ and starting to gain weight around the middle for no apparent reason, it could be the first signs of perimenopause.

Perimenopause can start in women as young as 35 but is more common in women over 40.

Menopause weight gain is one of the most frustrating of the symptoms of menopause and the one that seems to cause the most distress and upset.

Other symptoms include:

  • Insomnia
  • Lack of sex drive
  • Hair loss
  • Hot flashes
  • Night sweats
  • Irregular/painful periods
  • Problems concentrating
  • Poor memory
  • Carb cravings
  • Lack of energy/motivation
  • Mood swings
  • Aggressiveness
  • A general feeling that something is 'not quite right' with you but you are not sure what

I ran a workshop on this very topic last Wednesday night, sharing an easy to follow 4 step structure with the 30 female attendees to help them manage not just menopause weight gain, but other menopause symptoms too. I will be sharing this information again during my brand new 28 day on line programme.

If you are reading this and you are a 3rd aged women like myself, I have no doubts that your life is pretty busy; caring for children that are still at home. Perhaps looking after older parents too. Juggling the demands of a job with running a household and holding down a relationship - finding time for yourself and finding some time for exercise is pretty tough isn't it?

That is the beauty of my new 28 day on line course - you can workout from home and follow the programme at a time to suit YOU.
